MLK National Day of Service + Friends of Madera Canyon
Show Up. Go Outside. Drive Change.
We’re recruiting teens who want to spend a few hours giving back to their community on January 19, the MLK National Day of Service! Please join us from 11:00am to 3:00pm for a few hours of cleaning up the Canyon’s well-loved picnic tables. We’ll meet at the Proctor Ramada in Madera Canyon, where we’ll collect your volunteer registration forms and permission slips, have some donuts, hand out commemorative T-Shirts, do a little training, and make work assignments.
To ensure we have adequate tools, equipment, and donuts, please register:
Details
- When: 11:00AM – 3:00PM, January 19, 2026
- Where: Proctor Ramanda, Madera Canyon
- What to bring: Please come prepared with long sleeves, long pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, water to drink and anything else you may need. Tools, supplies and any other equipment needed for performing the volunteer services will be provided.
Under 18: Anyone under 18 needs to have a parent or guardian complete page two of the registration form. We regret that we cannot accept volunteers younger than 12. Please bring this completed form with you.
